The following are online sources used to develop Net Art World:

Artist Links: 2003 Net Art Links
Compiled by Dr. Reinhold Grether is considered one of the most popular resources for Net Art. The list of artists is accurate as of March 2003.Broken links may occur as artists do change URL addresses from time to time. If a broken link is found, it should be considered an ephemeral aspect of the internet. For the latest version please visit the 2003 link above. View the list of artists as of March 2003. Please note that there are many important new media artists who are not included in Dr. Grether's list. As Net Art World 1.0 is developed around appropriation of pre-existing resources, it would not make sense to include artists that I considered to be important; this would be an imposition of my choices on Dr. Grether's selections. Adding or deleting from his list would be like editing a book without permission from the author.

This is the reason why it was used as the statistical resource for Net Art World.
